Please be aware of a scam targeting debit cardholders, which is being reported by financial institutions nationwide. In the scam, the caller identifies as being from the institution’s fraud department and ultimately requests personal information from the cardholder, including their personal identification number (PIN).
Please remember APGFCU will NEVER ask for your PIN. If you receive a call or text requesting personal information, hang up and call us directly at our published number. Furthermore, should you receive a text code that appears to be from a fraud detection center, do not give the one-time code to anyone contacting you. This code should only be provided to you when you place an inbound call to a fraud detection center yourself.
